Sierra Affinity just released this "first look" at Ryan Gosling as professional motorcycle rider turned bank robber in The Place Beyond the Pines. Gosling fans we can't pretend we haven't enjoyed the charms of Handsome Luke from the very first stages of the filming back in July 2011, but an official picture -so beautifully taken- is always a good way to brighter any fan's day, isn't it??? We admit our hearts skipped a beat as if we hadn't ever seen a sexier impersonation of Billy Idol before. But that's part of our undonditional love, isnt it? ... According to ContactMusic, Ryan Gosling has rented a bungalow at the exclusive Chateau Marmont so he can throw a huge Halloween party on Monday (31.10.11). The publication says that he doesn't want to attend a glitzy Hollywood shindig on October 31st so he has been busy preparing for his own bash by turning the room into a haunted mansion for him and his friends.
A source said: "Ryan's already caught up in the ghoulish Halloween spirit and comes back from shopping every day carrying bags and bags of scary stuff like hanging glow-in-the-dark skeletons, monster faces, daggers, witch brooms and a slew of other Halloween items."
Ryan is reportedly hugely excited about his spooky party with one insider saying the bungalow looks like the set of a horror movie. The source added to the National Enquirer magazine: "His room looks like something out of a horror movie, but he's loving every moment of it, and told the staff that it's really going to be freaky cool when the moon rises." There was a time, long before Dead Man's Bones and prior to the day Mr Gosling decided to liberate the crooner inside him, when he performed his songs without his partner in crime -Mr Shields- in small L.A clubs like "The Cat Club" in West Hollywood. Those are the times Donna Gosling exchanged some mails with Valerie in her Ohh Ryan Gosling site talking about Ryan's music, revealing a side that not everybody knows about her son: an old soul with a wonderful heart and feet squarely on the ground. But a mother couldn't leave unnoticed his baby blues, the blond hair and the charming smile, could she? Find it out in Donna Gosling.
To get this info, we contacted Kamin; she contacted BlondieBlue227 who kindly posted a message in The United States of Gosling forum, where Garr shared the first clues about the letters before Lorelai posted the info in the forum, giving credits to Valerie, who kindly gave us permission to use the letters she exchanged with Donna ... Stay entry has been increased with info about the filming process, soundtrack, sites and a "Stay" Rubik's cube promotional gift. All in Stay Entry.
Last October 18th we announced that the scouting for locations for "Only God Forgives" in Bangkok may have started. Today Bangkok Post have confirmed that Nicolas Winding Refn is currently in Thailand's capital, excited because "the city is very cinematic and the film will take place mostly at night". The director is also a little bit worried about the flood.

It's been only a few days that we confessed our love for Marc Forster's Stay movie and your mails have definitely showed that we are not alone. There's a lot of interesting information about this film that we will hopefully upload during the weekend, but in the meantime you can check Henry Letham's Tumblr where you will find a beautiful collection of stunning images, info and tidbits about Henry's universe.
Crocheted Dan Dunne is under construction and the first stages of this new Gosling crocheted creature rest in pieces around our Mom's domains … a bald head, a tiny chest with arms, a baby blue tshirt and what it looks to us like Dunne's distinctive tie ... We will keep you posted about the process.

"Only God Forgives" entry has been improved with some production notes suggesting these guys may be currently looking for some locations in Bangkok. The shooting of the film -that received production support from the Danish Film Institute- will start in February 2012 according to DFI. Only God Forgives: Indiewire has started to feed our curiosity giving us some clues about the weirdest script that, according to Ryan, he has ever had the chance to read: "Only God Forgives" Check OGF entry to get some details about the plot, to read some production notes and to learn some tips about Muay Thai, the latest challenge that Mr Gosling has decided to take.
Drive entry keeps growing! Epigraph 13th has been updated with more info on "what do cast and crew have to say about" Ryan, Nic, Albert, Bryan, Carey, Oscar and Christina.
Do you remember that last September 21st Elle Driver kindly submitted some links to artwork related to Drive? Ryan Gangster Squad Video: Mr Gosling, the world's most beautiful animal since Ava Gardner, spends some time with his fans in a "Gangster Squad" filming break. Wrong marketed and negatively tagged by some critics as an attempt to look "artsy", Stay is one of those movies you will love to the core if if you understand what you see.
As director Marc Forster pointed out, it was made to be watched multiple times to try to decipher the clues in every scene, so we invite you to check out the very first stages of our humble tribute to what could be considered the most underrated movie starred by Mr Ryan Gosling.

We went like: "Hey Ma! Why don't you make a crocheted version of The Gosling-icious?" ...
And she went like: "There's a hundred thousand wool balls in this house. If I crochet for you, you give me a time and a place, I give you a fifteen days window.
